Nectly Terms of Service

Welcome to Nectly—where conversations aren't vague, awkward, or unpaid. They're intentional, 20 minutes long, and built to deliver value on both sides. When you use Nectly, you agree to these simple rules that keep things fair, respectful, and productive.

1. The Basics

  • Nectly is a platform that turns outreach into real conversations.
  • Calls are 20 minutes. You're here to either give value, get insight, or both.
  • You can get paid for your time or donate it to a good cause. Either way, your time is respected—and so is theirs.
  • By using Nectly, you confirm you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into agreements.

2. Be a Pro

  • We love warmth and wit. But at the end of the day, this is a professional exchange. So:
  • Show up on time.
  • Be prepared.
  • Don’t ghost.
  • Treat people how you’d want to be treated—especially if someone’s paying (or donating!) for your time.

3. Cancellations

  • Plans change—we get it.
  • Seekers can cancel a conversation more than 12 hours in advance for a full refund or session credit.
  • Cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed back to your original payment method within 2 business days.
  • Frequent cancellations or no-shows by Experts may result in account warnings, or account suspension at our discretion.

4. No Leaks, No Regrets

  • This is important. You may not share, request, or discuss any of the following during a Nectly session:
  • Material, nonpublic information (insider trading is not the vibe).
  • Proprietary or confidential info from employers, clients, or third parties—past or present.
  • Trade secrets, business plans, IP, or anything under NDA or assumed confidentiality.
  • Info about pending government action or decisions that aren’t public.
  • Basically: If you have to ask “should I share this?”—don’t.
  • You’re responsible for complying with any applicable laws or company policies when using Nectly.

5. You Own You

  • You're responsible for what you say. Nectly just facilitates the call—we don’t record content, moderate sessions, or control what happens on the line.
  • Use good judgment, be honest, and respect boundaries.
  • Nectly provides the platform, not the advice. You use the service at your own risk, and we’re not responsible for the outcomes of any conversation.

6. No Creeps, No Spam

  • Don’t harass, misrepresent yourself, or use the platform to do anything without consent.
  • Don’t record calls unless the other person agrees.
  • And definitely don’t pretend to be someone you’re not.
  • Violation of these rules or our Code of Conduct may result in immediate account suspension or termination, at Nectly's sole discretion.

7. Payment Terms & Refunds

  • Seekers pay when they book—either by using a session from their preloaded bundle or via Pay-As-You-Go (charged at the time of booking).
  • Nectly charges a $5 platform fee—so we can keep things clean, private, and ad-free.
  • For each session, payment to the Expert is scheduled for automatic release one (1) hour after the session's scheduled conclusion.
  • This payment release will be paused if either the Seeker or the Expert submits a formal dispute through Nectly's 'Report an Issue' feature within this one-hour window. In the event of a dispute, the payment will be held by Nectly pending a review and resolution.
  • No refunds are issued for Seeker no-shows. If an Expert fails to attend a scheduled session, the Seeker will receive a 100% full refund.
  • If you experience a technical failure, a no-show from the other party, or a violation of our Code of Conduct, you must notify Nectly by using the 'Report an Issue' feature within (1) hour after the session’s scheduled conclusion.

8. Dispute Resolution & Code of Conduct

  • We can’t guarantee chemistry. We make connections easier, not perfect. If a call doesn’t spark, that’s okay.
  • Every good connection starts with mutual respect, clear expectations, and showing up with purpose.
  • Nectly does not moderate sessions and is not responsible for the professional opinions or communication styles of its users.
  • We do not mediate disputes based on subjective satisfaction or professional disagreement.
  • However, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, fraud, threats, and any illegal activity.
  • Users can report such serious violations through our 'Report an Issue' feature.
  • Nectly reserves the right to investigate these specific claims and take any action we deem necessary, including the immediate and permanent suspension of any user found to be in violation of this policy.

9. Updates and Changes

  • These terms may change as we grow (and we will).
  • When we update them, we’ll make it clear and inform you.

  • You’re part of a shift. A move away from vague asks and unproductive networking, toward a new kind of professional connection: structured, intentional, and deeply human.
